This Shipping Policy applies to all orders placed on The Bulb Bag website (www.thebulbbag.com). All items are individually handmade in our studio in Bucharest, Romania.

1. Processing time

Each Bulb Bag is crafted by hand. Production time varies depending on the piece type:

  • Ready-made items: dispatched within 3–5 business days.
  • Made-to-order or pre-order pieces: require 2–5 weeks for production before shipping.

You will receive a confirmation email once your order is accepted and another one when it ships, including your tracking number.

2. Shipping rates & carriers

We offer worldwide shipping from Bucharest, Romania. Shipping costs are automatically calculated at checkout, based on your delivery address and selected carrier.

  • Domestic (Romania): handled by Fan Courier or equivalent, tracked delivery within 1–2 business days.
  • EU & International: handled by DHL / UPS / DPD, tracked delivery within 5–10 business days after dispatch.

Shipping rates do not include any customs or import duties.

4. Customs, duties & taxes

Orders shipped outside the European Union may be subject to import taxes, duties, and customs fees imposed by your local authorities. These charges are the customer's responsibility.

We cannot predict or control these fees — please check with your local customs office for details before ordering.

5. Packaging & handling

Every Bulb Bag is carefully wrapped in its dust bag, padded for protection, and boxed securely. All packages include tracking information and require a signature on delivery whenever possible.

6. Shipping delays or issues

We are not responsible for delays caused by courier companies, customs processing, or incorrect shipping details provided by the customer.

If a package is lost in transit, we will assist you in filing a claim with the carrier. Once a claim is resolved, we will either replace or refund your order where applicable.

7. Address errors

Please double-check your address at checkout. We cannot redirect parcels once they have been shipped. If the courier returns your parcel due to an incorrect or incomplete address, you will be responsible for reshipping costs.

8. Returns

Our Return & Refund Policy applies to all shipped items. Please read it carefully before making a purchase.

9. Restrictions & special zones

  • We currently do not ship to Russia due to courier restrictions.
  • Remote destinations (islands or special territories) may require additional delivery time or surcharges.
