The Bulb Bag began as a feeling, not a business.

A need to create something soft, sculptural, and unapologetically different. I never wanted to design a “beautiful” bag in the traditional sense, I wanted one that made people look twice, that started conversations, that felt a little alive. It was meant to exist somewhere between art and function, between rebellion and tenderness.

It all started quietly, in Bucharest, in a corner of my apartment filled with fabric scraps, pins, and a stubborn sewing machine that refused to curve the way I wanted. I had no plan, no factory, no team, just an idea that wouldn’t leave me alone. The first prototype was uneven and strange, but it made me smile. That’s when I knew I’d found something, a shape that felt like me.

I sew, I cut, I shape the bulbs myself.
Each one passes through my hands, from the first sketch to the final stitch. Some are made of matte eco-leather, some glossy, some soft and airy like skin. They change depending on the light, the mood, the texture, no two ever feel the same. Every Bulb carries a little of that imperfection, that human trace that no factory can copy.
